JL Gray Construction has the experience, knowledge, and ability to perform any civil construction project in Central Texas. We have experience in all municipalities and counties, and pride ourselves in providing a turnkey project with a customer eccentric approach.
We specialize in all aspects of civil construction including earthwork, water, wastewater, drainage, and retaining wall improvements, as well as underground gas, electric, and telecommunications.
JL Gray Construction was formed by three partners with a common goal: to build a “team approach” relationship with our clients. We want our clients to utilize our combined 60 years of experience to get their projects from the design phase to completion, with an undoubted certainty that we have the ability to perform at the apex of civil construction standards. Our diligent and energetic approach to construction results in the creation of relationships that extend beyond the job level.

Jason Gray
Managing Partner / Business Development
Jason has over 21 years of experience in land development, civil engineering, and civil construction. Having worked in all 3 areas, Jason provides a great overall knowledge of the land development industry. A graduate of Texas A&M in 2003, he went out to the workforce immediately in Austin, TX while pursuing his graduate degree, MBA in Management, from Texas State University.
Brian Lemons
Managing Partner / Procurement
Brian has been in the civil construction industry for over 19 years. Brian has TXDOT experience, and has been estimating civil projects for over 15 years in the Central Texas area. Brian grew up locally in Georgetown, and has a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of the industry from the field to procurement.
Seth Jewell
Managing Partner / Field Operations
As a graduate from Texas A&M University with a degree in construction science, he quickly found his way into the construction industry in Austin, TX. He has extensive experience in turnkey civil construction as well as site development in the Central Texas area.
