We specialize in all aspects of civil construction — including earthwork, water, wastewater, drainage, and retaining wall improvements, as well as underground gas, electric, and telecommunications.

Founded by three partners with a common goal — to build a “team approach” relationship with our clients — JL Gray Construction combines more than 60 years of experience to carry projects from the design phase through completion, at the apex of civil construction standards. In 2025, we took that team approach a step further: we became an employee-owned company.

An ESOP creates a trust in which employees’ accounts accumulate shares of the company at no cost to them. As the company grows over time, those shares can increase in value — allowing every employee-owner to share directly in the company’s success.
